1.Relax Beneath A Beach Cabana
Our most popular way for Kimpton Vero Beach Hotel & Spa guests to relax and rejuvenate is beneath one of our high quality cabanas, fully equipped with curtains for privacy or extra shade. Large enough for two lounge chairs or several beach chairs, and up to two tables, it’s the perfect option for families and friends planning on spending multiple hours on the beach. Need a drink? You don’t have to get up! Heaton’s Reef Bar & Grill are ready to serve you while you
2. Paddle Out On A Stand Up Paddle Board
You don’t have to be a pro to enjoy a SUP (stand up paddle board) on the ocean! In fact, our beach attendants include a free lesson with every rental to ensure you feel strong and steady! Our paddle board rentals are available to guests and the public. Paddle out to one of the many reefs, or the very popular SS Breconshire shipwreck! Visit us in the summertime for the opportunity to see an array of sea turtle species, manatees, and dolphins!
3.Take To The Waves In A Tandem Kayak
A tandem kayak is a great option for couples and friends looking to take one paddle craft out, or for parents with small children! Our Kayaks were designed to navigate small ocean waves and are super stable! Our kayak rentals are available to guests and the public. Head out to a reef, or the famous SS Breconshire shipwreck, and don’t forget to bring your waterproof camera to capture the array of wildlife you’ll see like sea turtles, dolphins, manatees, and birds!
4. Boogie Board The Day Away
Kids love our high quality boogie boards, and guess what, dad does too! Our boards are suitable for children and adults and make for an awesome way to get kids in the ocean to have fun! Rent them for one day, or your whole vacation! We rent out boogie boards to guests and the public.
5. Dive The Vero Beach Shipwreck The SS Breconshire
Did you know there is a shipwreck just 100 yards of the coast in Vero Beach, FL? The SS Breconshire ran aground in 1894 and has been in 15-18ft of water ever since! It now serves as an artificial reef and home to a wide variety of species! During the summer we offer guided snorkel tours via paddle board or kayak for groups up to 7 adults (or more with at least a week’s notice). Don’t have snorkel gear? No problem! We sell affordable high quality masks and dry snorkels and fit everyone with a pair of fins. We often see sea turtles, tropical fish, cone jellyfish (they can’t sting!), and the occasional manatee!
