Chris grew up on the Pacific Coast in California. He spent his youth hiking, camping, snowboarding, and enjoying as many water sports as he could find time for. He was on his school swim team and surf team (we also had surf PE in San Diego schools) in addition to competing with the Junior Lifeguards. He became a certified ocean lifeguard in his teens.
In 2004 he moved to Florida and fell in love with the Atlantic Ocean and discovered paddle boarding. While he always appreciated being outdoors, it wasn’t until one of those first paddle adventures that Chris decided he was going to turn his passion for water sports into a full-time adventure. He became a Red Cross certified lifeguard and earned his America Canoe Association L1 SUP Instructor distinction. Chris turned in his suit and picked up his paddle and hasn’t looked back since.
Experience is everything, and Chris is committed to each of his paddlers having a great adventure.
